The Other Side

For all our talk about egg retrieval, we don't like to talk about sperm retrieval. It's much more low tech, and a bit more taboo. But an anonymous friend has contributed this picture that he took at Massachusetts General Hospital. Much like a library, this public institution has contributed to his literary development. In particular, he said that until now, he did not know that "White Trash Magazine" existed.

It's really not fair, is it? Women have to put up with cramps, periods, childbirth, painful egg retrieval in some cases to achieve childbirth, hips, clothes that are not cut for women with hips, hourly fluctuations in weight, a lingering stereotype that we are the weaker sex despite a wealth of evidence to the contrary, etc. And men? What do they get? White Trash Magazine.

I bet you will get a lot of comments from the men blog readers now...this could get interesting.

I've always wondered....and DH tried to describe it to me, but now I can visualize. :) DH said he felt like he stepped into a different world out of the hallway into a very non-clinical world...
